Trial Balloon

Many of you are much more experienced with blogs than I am, in which case feel free to make changes and offer suggestions. For those of you who are blog-challenged, if you want to write something you select "new post" and start typing. When you click "publish post" it will appear on the blog. If you want to comment on something someone has already written, click on "comment" (or the pencil icon) below the post and it will take you to a new page where you will follow the prompts. Comments by others will appear in a list on this new page, so you can follow the conversation. Unlike perilous listserves, everything on a blog can be deleted by either the writer or by me, so don't worry if you press publish accidentally.

If you want to add a link/image to a site, you can click that option in the posting toolbar. If you want me to add a feature to the splash page (the first page that comes up when you get to the site), just let me know and I can do try to do it. (And you don't have to call me "Professor Reitz" -- I think I'm stuck with that since that's the username I use with my class blogs. Hey, it's better than "Mom," but I'll have to tell you that story another time.)

What a fabulous site! I love it and can't wait to read it every morning over a cup of coffee and my Posner.

Only in the morning? Why, I'm manically checking in between every other paragraph of the Posner, which I read all day, of course.
